My personal life sucks. It’s non-existent right now. I’m neither sad nor mad about it. I accept it for what it is, and I’ve decided to keep it moving. In the meantime, I have added a whole new group of people to my list of folks who I will never date.
I will never again date any black woman who is NOT the descendant of black American slaves. That means no black women from the Caribbean, Africa or anywhere else outside of those who descended from Black American slaves. I have several reasons for this, but I don’t feel like going into those details on this post.
While my personal life is non-existent, my professional life is up and moving. This month I received a job promotion. Right now I am an insurance underwriter. Next month, I will begin a new position as an adjuster.
This means a raise to $95k a year, and an opportunity to work from home.
No more Atlanta traffic for me!
I will be going out to people’s homes and businesses in my area, assessing the damage involved in their claims, and writing checks from my company issued van.
I’m excited about my new job. Years ago, when I was poor and struggling, I never thought I would be making the money I make now. I used to worry about whether or not I would be able to support a family on a librarian’s salary. That’s not a problem anymore. Now I can support a family completely on my own.
I’m blessed! 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
